Sesame Street's Elmo, Cookie Monster Visit Downtown Tulsa Library

Elmo and Cookie Monster on Wednesday took a trip away from Sesame Street to visit some Green Country kids.

The two TV legends were at Connor's Cove at the Hardesty Regional Library this afternoon to help kids fall in love with reading.

And it sure was a surprise for the more than 300 children who were there.

"Oh, man! Some of them were star struck," said the library's Emily Taylor "They just stared in awe at Elmo and Cookie Monster because they are so gigantic."
