Your 2 Cents: Rutgers Basketball Coach Fired After Abuse Video Surfaces

Posted: Updated:

The video of the now fired Rutgers basketball coach abusing his players during practice stirred up a lot of anger. Here's what you had to say about it.

Leslie first: "That video is an absolute outrage!! Both the coach and the school should have to face criminal charges!!!"

Tracy says: "I wanted to cry and punch him at the same time! Lock him up. Big bully!"

Dave asks: "How is this guy any different from Bobby Knight?"

Loretta says: "He certainly should NOT be able to coach anything or anywhere the rest of his life!"

Cherie writes: "What is sad is there are a lot of coaches out there in our own state coaching like that."

I'd say a few, but not a lot Cherie.

And to prove it, Todd, a coach from Durant wrote: "I agree Kelly! That's really bad, forget being fired, maybe being arrested would be more appropriate!"

Jeanette says: "What I don't understand is how he got by with this for so long and I wonder how long this abuse has been going on?"

Virginia pretty blunt about it: "I wouldn't let that man train my dog."

Finally David asks: "Why are all these famous people so apologetic and sorry for hurting those around them only AFTER they are caught?"

I'm Kelly Ogle and that's YOUR 2 Cents.
