Ex-Boyfriend Of OKC Nurse Arrested In Her Murder

He denied any involvement in Sheila Stanley's murder, but three days later, Harvey Wilson was arrested and thrown in jail.

U.S. Marshalls arrested Wilson Monday night and booked him into the Cleveland County jail for First Degree Murder.

Sheila Stanley was a nurse in Oklahoma City. Two of her friends found her dead in early December, and the front door to her house was wide open.

The state Medical Examiner's Office ruled that Stanley had been stabbed to death.

Harvey Randall Wilson, 56, was Stanley's former boyfriend. In a phone conversation with News 9, he said the two had not seen each other around the time she was killed.

"I haven't' talked to Sheila in, before then I hadn't talked to her in forever. Actually the last conversation that we actually had July 4 of last year," Wilson said.

Information in court papers alleges Wilson sent threatening text messages just days before Stanley was found dead.

"That's not true. I've got every phone, I've got text messages that go back that far, ha ha ha," said Wilson. "I can produce my phone records. If I have to."

Wilson was the second arrest in the case. On Friday, police arrested 18-year-old Bryson Baker for the killing.

According to court paper, Baker had been staying with Wilson. Wilson said he was trying to help Baker out because kids at school said he was living under a bridge. On Friday Wilson said he was "devastated" but "thankful" to hear Baker was arrested for Stanley's murder.

"I was devastated. I mean, I really didn't know this boy. I was just trying to help him out," Wilson explained.

Harvey Wilson distanced himself from Baker in the phone call. He said he would see Baker one night at the house, then would not see him for days. District Attorney Greg Mashburn says they are still wrapping up the investigation and expects formal charges to be filed later this week.
