Authorities may be getting closer to solving a 20-year-old cold case.

As News 9 was first to report on Monday, investigators are digging for clues on a property near Jennings, Okla.

On Thursday, OSBI spokesperson Jessica Brown would not confirm if they have found anything at this point. But family members of those who are missing tell News 9 they have been asked to give DNA samples.

Investigators from several different agencies continue to work at the rural property near Jennings, looking for clues in the cold case of Wendy Camp, her daughter Cynthia Britto and Wendy's sister-in-law Lisa Kreger.

"I'm very positive, but there again, I don't want to get so built up and then crushed. I cannot emotionally go through that again," said Jessica Taylor, Camp's mother and Britto's grandmother.

The three have been missing since 1992. They had just visited Wendy's son in Shamrock, Okla. Wendy's mother-in-law Beverly Noe was driving them back to Oklahoma City. They stopped in Shamrock to call home.

"'We're on our way back home now. We'll see you in a couple hours,'" recalls Taylor.  "That was the last known contact."

For the past 21 years there have been no answers and very few leads.

"I prayed every single morning. ‘Lord please, please let today be the day,'" said Taylor.

Camp's family says they strongly believed the Noe family was responsible.

"I felt in my heart. All three of them were murdered that day, but I felt there was a slight possibility they may have let my granddaughter survive," said Taylor.

Then Monday, investigators started digging on the property. An OSBI spokesperson said they were looking for clues in the case.

"We want them found. We want to have justice," said Aisha Hashmi, Camp's sister.

A discovery at the site could bring that justice. Finally.

"I hope for multiple arrests, multiple," said Hashmi.  "They've all been free, enjoying their life without regard to my missing family members."

The OSBI says they hope to be wrapped up at the site Friday.
