Downtown OKC Prepares To 'Thunder Up' For Playoffs

With the NBA Playoffs set to begin Saturday, Oklahoma City is already Thundering Up! 

The Thunder begins their first-round series against Houston and former Thunder guard James Harden on Sunday.  

In downtown Oklahoma City says this weekend, several different types of Thunder-themed decorations will begin sprouting up around town. 

Thunder Public Relations Director Dan Mahoney says the players and coaches notice the civic pride.

"The passion and energy is fantastic, getting to where we are doesn't happen overnight, making the playoffs isn't easy," he said.

The Thunder will tipoff against the Rockets this Sunday at 8:30 p.m.
