CATOOSA, Oklahoma -

Catoosa fire responded to a house fire at 201 North Shawnee in Catoosa around 4 a.m. Saturday morning.

When they arrived, the whole front of the house was engulfed in flames and two small propane tanks were venting as designed to relieve pressure from the heat.

The house sustained extensive damage.

Two adults and two children live in the house. The father and his son were home at the time, the father outside with some friends.

The father ran into the home to rescue his son and was taken to the hospital with injuries.
