A man who was injured after crashing his motorcycle on Interstate 240 in Oklahoma City remains in serious condition at the hospital, according to authorities.

Bob Mills SkyNews 9 HD pilot Jim Gardner was flying over the scene of a four-vehicle collision involving an ambulance on I-240 at Shields Friday, when a motorcycle rider going the opposite way slammed into the back of a car.

The motorcyclist, later identified as 71-year-old James Mauldin, was then transported to the OU Medical Center in critical condition.

Authorities told News 9 on Saturday that Mauldin is still in serious condition.

Seven others received minor injuries from the four-vehicle collision.
