Crowds gathered on Monday, April 22 for a peaceful demonstration against child abuse.

It was the March Against Child Abuse at the Tulsa County Courthouse Plaza. The March was a nationwide effort, including more than 300 cities, all with a simple message - end child abuse.

But to do that they need your help.

"Everybody has to play a part. There's so much need; there's plenty for everyone to do," said Stacey Burgess. Stacey's nephew, Jace Burgess, was killed by his mother's boyfriend in 2010.

To help a child you think may be the victim of abuse, you can contact Family and Children Services. Call them at 918-744-4800 or visit one of several locations.
