Students and faculty members at Oklahoma State University in Oklahoma City are asked to evacuate Tuesday afternoon due to a bomb threat, according to Oklahoma City police.

Students at the OSU campus, located at 900 N. Portland Ave. in Oklahoma City, say they received a text message Tuesday from school officials, asking them to leave the campus immediately.

Oklahoma City police confirmed that a bomb threat was made against the school.

School officials say they received a phone call at about 4 p.m. Tuesday from someone who sounded like a female, saying a bomb has been scheduled to go off on the campus some time before 11 p.m.

Officers are now going from building to building, looking for any suspicious devices. The bomb squad is not currently on the scene.

All evening classes are canceled on Tuesday.
