Last Saturday was a prom night to remember for some Edmond Santa Fe High School students. The Junior-Senior Prom was held at the State Fairgrounds.

A group of four students who didn't attend the prom, but dressed up with their classmates, had an agreement with Champagne Chauffers to have the driver take them to Bricktown. But the kids say that driver drove to a country western bar a few blocks away from the fairgrounds instead.

The kids say he basically locked them in the limousine, and went inside the bar for about 30 minutes. He eventually returned with a woman who the kids say didn't have many clothes on.

Alisha Lackey was one of those four kids.

"We were like 'what?' I mean it was beyond confusing," she said.

Lackey says the driver took the kids back to the fairgrounds to be with their classmates at 10:30 p.m.

The owner of Champagne Chauffers says the limo driver is an independent contractor, acted on his own.

The owner also says that driver will never drive for him again.
