Memorial Walk And Service Set For Tulsa's Nate Waters

A hearse-only procession will begin at Greenwood and Archer at 1:50 p.m. and will join the pedestrian procession beginning at Bartlett Square at 5 and Main at 1:50 p.m.

A funeral procession walk will proceed Thursday's memorial service for Nate Waters.

Waters, who rose above debilitating injuries to become an advocate for victims of domestic violence, died April 21, 2013. He was 35.

A hearse-only procession will begin at Greenwood and Archer at 1:50 p.m. and will join the pedestrian procession beginning at Bartlett Square at 5 and Main at 1:50 p.m.

The procession will end at the First United Methodist Church at 1115 South Boulder.

The memorial service begins at 3 p.m.

Organizers say the walk will honor the legacy of Nate Waters as an advocate for an accessible city

Nate Waters' burial will be Friday, May 3rd at Tulsa's Memorial Park Cemetery.
