Gusty northerly winds helped fan the flames of an attic fire in a Tulsa home Thursday morning.  Tulsa Fire got the call just before 8:30 a.m. to a home in the 2300 block of North Toledo.

Fire officials say by the time they arrived on scene, those winds had caused the fire to spread from the attic into the garage.

Firefighters searched the home, finding only a family pet, a cat which had died.

Cause of the fire remains under investigation.
