Johnny Davis was arrested outside a Joplin hospital after two women told authorities they were abducted near a Joplin truck stop, taken into Oklahoma and  assaulted then returned to Missouri.

According to Oklahoma court records Davis was convicted of first-degree rape in Craig County in 1998. He was sentenced to 30 years, with 6 years suspended and was paroled in July 2010.

Court records show Davis still faces a first-degree rape charge filed in June 2012 in Nowata County.
