Two weeks, six games and portions of two playoff series' have passed since the Thunder's Russell Westbrook tore his meniscus.

In that time, the Oklahoma City has been forced to adapt to life without its explosive floor general. OKC is 3-3 so far in the post-Westbrook era and will look to make it 4-3 Saturday in Memphis.

Westbrook spoke Thursday about how the team is reacting to his absence.

"They're tough, man. I think we have a tough group of guys, finding ways to win games" Westbrook said. "I think we have enough to get a ring, in my honest opinion. We've been together long enough to figure things out when guys go down."

This is the first time in Westbrook's career he has missed any games. He talked about how difficult that reality has been.

"I don't want to let my team down," Westbrook said. "I want to compete, I love playing."

But even with the injury, Westbrook says he has other ways he can help the Thunder as they move forward.

"As the point guard and a leader of this team, my job is to find a way where I can help my teammates, the coaching staff and the organization. My job is to give it back; help them as much as I can and give my input."

Tipoff for Game 3 is set for 4 p.m. Saturday in Memphis, and you can bet Westbrook will be ready.
