The FBI says the man walked into the Baxter State Bank on South Main Street in Quapaw just before 9:30 a.m. and demanded cash from a bank employee.
After putting the money in a plastic grocery type bag, the man ordered employees into the bank's vault and then left.
The man is described as a white male, between 50 and 60 years of age, 5-foot-6, slim build, wearing a long gray wig. He was dressed in a light colored shirt, blue jeans and ball cap.
The FBI says no one was injured.
Anyone with information is requested to call the FBI at 405-290-7770.
The Oklahoma Banker's Association is offering a reward of up to $2,000 for information leading to the man's arrest and conviction.
