EDMOND, Oklahoma -

Police bust a sex slave operation in Edmond, where a 16-year-old pregnant girl was being forced into a life of prostitution.

Josh Hudson, 21, is behind bars, accused of selling the teen for sex. In a twist to the case, a 17-year-old boy was arrested, who police are treating as both a suspect and a victim.

In the heart of Edmond, undercover officers discovered an underworld business at the Broadway Suites Hotel, Friday.

"I can't believe something like that would be going on here," hotel customer Amy Hardin said.

Officers nabbed Hudson in the parking lot while he was electronically monitoring a pregnant 16 year old inside a hotel room. Police say Hudson gave orders to the girl. In the world of human trafficking, he is considered the master, while the girl is considered the slave.

"My daughter is actually 14 … almost 15, and I just couldn't imagine something like that going on," Hardin said.

Hudson is not the only suspect in this case. A 17-year-old boy, just one year older than his victim, is being held as an accomplice. Police believe the boy was also forced into prostitution.

Just down the road from this hotel where the bust took place is a nonprofit on a mission to end human trafficking. Experts with No Boundaries International say the victims in this case will likely need major counseling and a strong support system.

"They're literally broken down," No Boundaries president, Lori Basey said. "They need so many things … from medical to psychological care."

Five agencies including the FBI worked on the Edmond bust. The 16-year-old girl is now in protective custody. The 17-year-old boy is being held as a juvenile. Police say they also found drugs during the arrests.
