Chickasha Police Search For Rape Suspect

CHICKASHA, Oklahoma -

Chickasha police are looking for a suspect who raped a woman at her home early Saturday morning.

According to police, just before 1 a.m. officers responded to the rape report at a home in the 400 block of W. Colorado. The victim told police she was asleep inside her house, when she was awakened by a man who had entered her home.

The victim said the suspect then raped her. She was transported to the Grady Memorial Hospital to be treated for her injuries.

Police say it is unknown at this time how the suspect was able to gain access into the home.

Police have not arrested anyone in this case. A suspect's description is not available at this time.
