Body Of Maysville Man Discovered Near Creek In Pauls Valley

PAULS VALLEY, Oklahoma -

Police are investigating a homicide after a body was discovered near Rush Creek in Pauls Valley, early Tuesday morning.

Officers were called to the Love's truck stop, near Interstate 35 and Airline Rd., at 1:44 a.m. Tuesday, regarding a person being involved in a fight.

Once on scene police discovered the body on an adult male near the bank of Rush Creek. The cause of death is still under investigation.

Police have now identified the victim as 22-year-old Jerry Lytle of Maysville, Okla. It is unclear if he was involved in the reported fight.

No other information has been released at this time.
