CANADIAN COUNTY, Oklahoma -

Prosecutors called their final witnesses in the murder trial for Becky Bryan, accused of shooting her husband, late Nichols Hills Fire Chief Keith Bryan.

By the end of Day 9, the state had not rested its case.

Prosecutors spent the day going through a lot of technical testimony. OSBI forensics specialist testified one right after another, pointing out what they did or did not find on the items collected from the Bryan home.

Prosecutors allege Becky Bryan's handgun, a shell casing and glove were wrapped in a blanket and then stuffed in the clothes dryer after Keith Bryan was shot and killed in the couple's Mustang home on September, 20, 2011.

During testimony, agents pointed out what is believed to be bullet holes found in that blanket. Then, OSBI agents told the court they did not find any blood spatter on the clothes Becky Bryan wore the night of the murder, but that they did locate one particle believed to be gunshot residue on her right hand.

Agents say they found Becky Bryan's DNA in the glove, but they also found traces of other DNA believed to match Keith Bryan. The defense argued there's a 1 in 62 chance it could match someone else.

Testimony also revealed that agents never fingerprinted the alleged murder weapon.

Prosecutors have called 29 witnesses and are expected to rest on Friday. The defense will begin calling its witnesses.

The judge warned jurors that the trial will go not wrap up this week, but they will receive an increase in their rate of pay, past 10 days.
