Tulsa Police are asking for the public's help in locating a man wanted for felony domestic assault and battery. Charles Yahola is TPD's most wanted suspect of the week.

Yahola is charged with beating a woman over the head with a pair of vice grips.

According to court records, Yahola attacked a former girlfriend on January 6, 2013. The woman said she was visiting a family member at an apartment in the 1600 block of West 59th Street when Yahola came in and started pushing her. The victim ran from the apartment to a nearby store and then to Parkview Terrace Apartments at 1615 West 59th Street while Yahola followed her in a vehicle.

Court documents state that after the woman fled into a stranger's apartment, Yahola followed her and began hitting the back of her head with a pair of vice grips. He reportedly dragged her out the apartment then slammed her body to the ground outside.

"The victim stated that, while she was on the ground, the defendant (Yahola) kicked and punched her face with his closed fist," court records state.

Yahola then drove away.

The 24-year-old man is described as a black male, 6' tall and 220 pounds with black hair and brown eyes. The 24-year-old man has previous convictions for domestic assault and battery, and also has seven outstanding misdemeanor warrants.

He is wanted on a $120,000 bond.
