Collinsville Man Sentenced In Fatal Hit And Run

A man accused of a fatal hit and run in Owasso in early 2012 has been sentenced to prison after pleading guilty to the crime.

Jedediah Stephan "Jed" Perkey, 32, pleaded guilty to leaving the scene of a fatal accident on April 8, 2013. Court records indicate he changed his plea from not guilty to guilty without a deal with prosecutors.

Collinsville resident Darrell Glen Abadie, 39, was killed as he walked along Garnett near 126th Street North early on the morning of Sunday, January 15, 2012.

On Monday, May 20, 2013, a judge sentenced Perkey to 10 years in prison, with two years suspended.
