The Oklahoma Bureau of Investigation is assisting the Tahlequah Police Department after a woman's body was found inside her home Friday. Investigators believe she is a murder victim.

The woman was found dead inside her home in the 100 block of Kupsick Street. A Northeastern State University officer discovered her body at about 6 p.m. after the woman's friends asked for a welfare check.

The woman's name has not been released.

OSBI is asking the public to notify them if they see the woman's missing car: a red, 2011 Ford Fiesta with Oklahoma license plate 098HQO.

If you have any information about the murder or the victim's car, call OSBI at 1-800-522-8017.
