Police responded around 3 a.m. Saturday, after a downtown apartment manager found a tenant stabbed several times in the arms.

Corporal Dan Miller said the highly intoxicated victim left the apartment in the 100 block of West 4th Street and walked, bleeding, to the nearby bus terminal before officers got there. Miller said they had trouble finding him at first.

The apartment manager reportedly told police he saw a woman, holding a knife, leave in the opposite direction.

Miller said Saturday morning that police were looking for the woman and were hoping the victim would sober up enough to give them her name.

He said the man had lost a lot of blood, but that his injuries didn't appear to be life threatening.
