MOORE, Oklahoma -

Tenants of a large apartment complex that was damaged in the May 20 tornado are being dealt a double dose of bad news. Eviction notices showed up on their doors, leaving them with just a few days to find a new home.

Walking around "The Greens" apartment complex in Moore Friday afternoon, there were plenty of blank stares of disbelief.

"To find out last night I have until Monday morning to leave, that's a problem because I don't know what I am going to do," David Watkins said.

Watkins has lived there five years and is one of dozens of tenants who found an eviction notice on their front door Thursday night. It basically says residents have to be completely moved out by Monday.

Maribel Romero and her fiancé also have to leave.

"We have nowhere to go," said Romero.

Sharon Couey's brother saw their eviction notice on the door when he stepped outside for a smoke break Thursday night. They both live on Social Security. Another tenant, who doesn't want to be identified, says he doesn't like the way this went down.

"The way it was done, it was two days, and it was from my understanding it was delivered by the attorneys. It wasn't by management."

The twister inflicted heavy damage on "The Greens" office, and nobody's answering their phone. But someone did drive up to our photographer in a golf cart.

The tenants have until Monday morning to leave.
