Volunteer searchers have found the body of one of the missing people who was swept away Friday by raging floodwaters in Oklahoma City.

The body was found Monday in a creek at the southeast corner Broadway Extension and Interstate I-44. The person has not been identified, but family members tell News 9 the body belongs to a female.

The victim was one of several relatives who took shelter Friday in a drainage ditch near N.W. 26th Street and Meridian. The family was trying to take shelter after tornado warnings, but they were swept away by floodwaters.
