When the water level got to about two feet, the group tried to get out, but could not. The raging water swept all 11 into the Oklahoma River a quarter of a mile away.

"The current was so fast. There was no way to get back out," said Betty Yeatman, who was holding her 3-year-old nephew the whole time.

Yeatman was able to climb the banks of the river with the toddler, but little Corey Don Johnson was pronounced dead that night.

"I just floated on my back," said 8-year-old Tara Shrum, who was rescue near the dam in the river Friday night.

As of Monday evening, four people in the group are still missing. They include a 21-year-old, a six-month-old, a 3-year-old, and a 4-year-old.

The family organized a search along the Oklahoma River near Penn. Ave. Monday evening.

"There is no closure for this family because we don't know," Yeatman said.
