Special Twist Added To Inaugural Tulsa Cops And Robbers 5K

Oklahoma Gang Investigators Association will be holding its inaugural Cops and Robber 5K later this month.

The race will be at 7 p.m. on June 11, 2013 at Tulsa's River Parks at 9600 South Riverside Drive.

The association says all proceeds from the 5K will go the OGIA Downed Officer Fund which gives financial support to the families of officers who are killed in the line of duty in Oklahoma.

In a twist from typical 5Ks, the association says this race will feature ‘robbers' on the course that will have loot bags that the runners can keep if they catch the ‘robber.'
