TULSA, Oklahoma -

A minor wanted for an auto burglary sparked a standoff Thursday.

Tulsa police say the minor stole a car Thursday morning and then crashed it near 8500 East 58th Street.

He then ran to a home near 4100 West 11th Street, where police say he knew some people inside.

Police say the homeowners were cooperative and came outside, but the suspect wouldn't come out. Officers threw some pepper balls into the house, to no avail. Around 11:45, police entered the house, found the juvenile on the bed, and took him into custody.

He was wanted for first degree burglary, auto theft.
