OneOK Cutting 49 Positions, Mostly In Tulsa

Tulsa is losing dozens of jobs, with the elimination of OneOK's Energy Services department.

The company says that department doesn't fit with its long-term strategy anymore. OneOK says 49 positions are being cut, most of them in Tulsa.

Those employees are being offered the choice between other positions in the company or severance pay.

Energy Services bought and stored natural gas and then resold it during winter months. It also leased natural gas pipelines and provided services to natural gas utilities.
