Police are searching for two suspects who held a store manager at gunpoint and got away after he fought them in an attempted robbery at a north Tulsa Auto Zone.

It happened at around 8:30 Monday evening, at the store in the 5000 block of North Peoria Avenue.

The store manager says a man came up from behind him, put an arm around his neck and held a gun to his head. The manager fought back and grabbed the gun. He said the gun went off, but no one was hit.

Police say they are looking for two suspects, who took off on foot. So far, the only description they have of the suspects is that they are two black men and they were wearing masks.

Tulsa police are using a helicopter and K-9 officers to try to track down the attempted robbers.

They say nothing was taken from the store.

A News On 6 crew is at the scene. This story will be updated as more information becomes available.
