A woman wrestling with her seat belt crashed into a utility pole Wednesday evening, police said.

The driver was southbound on Memorial Road near 41st Street about 10:45 p.m., when she began having trouble with her seat belt. As she attempted to fix the issue, the car left the roadway, went between a fence and sign and hit the pole, police said.

The woman was treated for head injuries.

Her passengers -- a 3-year-old child in the back seat and her husband in the front -- were not hurt.
