TULSA, Oklahoma -

The biggest and brightest full moon of the year graced the sky over Tulsa early Sunday.

Astronomers say the moon appeared 14 percent larger than normal.  The moon came within 222,000 miles of Earth and turned full around 6:30 a.m.

While the supermoon does have a small impact on the tide, it doesn't cause any major problems.

But it's certainly a sight to see.
