Tulsa Police arrested a man after a fight left the man's step-brother dead.

Police identify the suspect as Samuel Adkins, 44. They identify the victim as Chuck Buckhorn, 36.

Detectives say when they arrived at a home in the 5900 block of East 24th Place just before 6 p.m., Adkins was sitting in the bed of a pickup truck and his step-brother's body was in the house.

Police say Adkins admitted to punching Buckhorn in the face, holding him to the ground and choking him.

"[We took a ] quick look at the scene, didn't determine if there were any weapons involved, and it just looks like a fist fight went on inside," said Tulsa Police Sgt. Dave Walker.

Police say neighbors didn't see or hear anything.

Police booked Adkins into the Tulsa County jail on a complaint of second degree murder.  His bond is $500,000.  Jail records show he has a court appearance set for July 8, 2013.
