A mother and her seven kids may have lost their home when a tornado hit Little Axe in May, but they're not letting that get them down. They're living in tents and working to pay it forward.

A week ago News 9 first introduced you to Cathy Talbott, who was living in a tent with her seven kids. But now she's actually decided to start giving back to the people that helped her out so much after she lost her home in the tornado.

Talbott works hard unloading donations in the Little Axe area. She's giving back even though she and her seven kids spent the last week living in tents and tiny temporary structures. There's no running water and no electricity.

It might come as a surprise that Talbott and her older kids spend most of their free time volunteering for Tammy's Little Axe Angels.

Relief organizers Lisa McCathern and Bobbie Steeley say that's just the kind of person Cathy is. And there are others like her who need help.

Cathy may be getting a trailer to stay in, if the donation comes through, but she doesn't want to get her hopes up.

Groups from all over the country have been showing up in little axe helping out but there's still a big need for donations. They need things like gift cards, gas cards and school supplies because school begins in just five weeks.
