The Tulsa Drillers fell for the fourth straight time Saturday night, giving up three runs in the top of the ninth inning to lose to Corpus Christi, 4-2.

Pat Urckfitz picked up the win for the Hook, retiring all three batters he faced in the eighth inning. Jorge De Leon pitched a perfect ninth inning for his second save of the season.

The Drillers wasted another strong effort from Tyler Matzek, who gave up four hits and one run in seven innings of work. Cole White took the loss, giving up all three runs in the ninth inning.

Preston Tucker got the scoring started for Corpus Christi, launching a solo home run to right in the top of the second inning.

The 1-0 lead held up until the sixth inning, when the Drillers tied the score on an RBI double that scored Dustin Garneau. Tulsa then took the lead in the bottom of the seventh inning on a solo shot from Kiel Roling.

However, the Hooks rallied in the ninth inning, scoring three runs to put the game away. Tucker struck once again, hitting a two-run triple to center before scoring on a wild pitch from Tulsa pitcher Cole White.

The teams are back in action Sunday night at 7:05 p.m.
