Jeremy Lamb struggled with his jumper all game but he made the one the Thunder needed with 6 seconds remaining in Monday's 79-78 victory against the Magic.

Lamb, one of the most intriguing players on Oklahoma City's summer league roster, missed his first five shots and finished 4-of-16 with 11 points, but he was instrumental in the Thunder's nine-point comeback over the final three minutes.

Grant Jerrett led the Thunder with 14 points, including four 3-pointers, and Dwight Buycks added 11 points and five assists.

Reggie Jackson had to leave the game after colliding with Daniel Orton, which resulted in stitches above Jackson's eye. He had four points, four assists and seven turnovers in 17 minutes. Jackson is expected to play in OKC's next contest.

Twelfth-overall pick Steven Adams did not play for OKC.

Andrew Nicholson scored 19 for Orlando and Doron Lamb chipped in with 16. Former All-Big 12 performers in Oklahoma's Romero Osby (4 pts, 6 rebs) and Kansas State's Rodney McGruder (5 pts) each played significant minutes off the bench for the Magic.

Victor Oladipo, the second-overall pick in the draft, shot just 2-for-12 but finished with 12 points thanks to an 8-of-10 showing from the foul line.

Next up for the Thunder is a Tuesday matchup against the Pistons at 12 p.m. (CST).
