Police Say Driver Fought With Emergency Crews After Tulsa Crash

Police are trying to determine if drugs were a factor after a driver to lost control of his car and uprooted a tree early Wednesday.

The crash happened at about 3:30 a.m. at 14th and Lewis.

Tulsa Police say the northbound car struck the center median, knocked over a tree before stopping under the Broken Arrow Expressway.

Police said the man wearing only red boxer shorts was combative with EMSA paramedics and firefighters as they got him into an ambulance. There was no word on his condition.
