TULSA, Oklahoma -

A 21-year-old Tulsa mother has been charged with second degree manslaughter after her 1-year-old daughter drowned in a bathtub.

An affidavit says Makayla Rhotenberry told police she put her 1 and 2-year-old daughters in the tub on May 22, 2013, around 6:50 in the evening.

It says she went into the kitchen to start dinner and went back in the bathroom nine minutes later and both girls were fine.

The affidavit says she checked on dinner, then gathered clothes and diapers for the girls, and when she went back to the bathroom about 10 minutes later, her youngest was face down in the water.

The arrest warrant was issued Tuesday. According to records, Rhotenberry has not been booked into the Tulsa County jail.
