Stilwell Man Injured By Homemade Bomb Pleads Guilty

TAHLEQUAH, Oklahoma -

A Stilwell man pleads guilty to having an unregistered firearm that federal prosecutors say he used to make a bomb in Cherokee County.

Jeremy Ramirez was injured when the device exploded while he was putting it together.

Tahlequah Police arrested Ramirez when he showed up at the hospital with shrapnel wounds. Ramirez faces up to 10 years in prison when he's sentenced.
