WAGONER COUNTY, Oklahoma -

The state Fire Marshal's Office has deemed the fire that killed a 13-year-old Coweta boy last month suspicious.

A family member said six people were in the home in the 13100 block of South 267th East Avenue when the fire started in the early morning of June 16.

The family said 13-year-old Cody Shanks got separated from the group and died in the fire.

The state Fire Marshal's Office says the case is still open, with help in the investigation from the Wagoner County Sheriff's Office.

According to the state Fire Marshal's Office, there may be arrests coming.
