A new billboard in town is turning some heads. A controversial campaign has been banned from other places like Chicago, but now the X-rated ads are showing up in the metro.

Some Oklahomans are worried it could have young women fall victim to human trafficking.

Brian Bates, an anti-prostitution activist, captured a picture of the new billboard near Interstate 40 and Eastern on Tuesday afternoon and it is already going viral.

"The billboard is nothing more than a recruitment tool for prostitution," Bates said.

Bates pointed out the billboard is only a few miles from billboards warning of a potential human trafficking threat in Oklahoma. OATH placed the anti-human trafficking billboards after several suspected trafficking cases were reported in Oklahoma.

Bates says the new racy advertisement solicits the young and vulnerable.

"The company is targeting our 17, 18, 19-year-old daughters and  that's something that should not be allowed. It's in terrible taste," Bates said.

The billboard company did not immediately return News 9's calls for questioning. So we contacted the company behind the explicit ad, arrangementfinders.com, a dating site promising to arrange mutually beneficial financial flings for young men and women.

The company is not apologizing for the controversial campaign. Instead a PR firm touts the campaign's success in other cities, despite the controversy. The company reports "the naughty site already boasts more than 5,500 members in the Oklahoma City area."

Bates believes the website itself is aiding and abetting prostitution. He and several others hope enough criticism will force the billboard company to pull the ad and replace it with a more positive message from oath.

AJ Perkins, ArrangementFinders CMO released a statement saying:

"Our site has absolutely nothing to do with prostitution. ArrangementFinders is a site dedicated to men and women looking for mutually beneficial arrangements. We have close to 3 women for 1 man on the site with over 2.1 million members. The Oklahoma City sign went up late Tuesday afternoon. We expect this billboard to be outstanding for us considering the location. Our goal is to expand in this growing market for our brand."
