NICOMA PARK, Oklahoma -

Police across the metro are zeroing in on an extensive network of alleged criminals.

As officers began looking into a pharmacy burglary in Nicoma Park, the dominos started falling, according to court records.

The investigation is quickly netting suspects in multiple burglaries and drug violations throughout the metro. News 9 has learned eight suspects from separate cases are already in jail after the early July burglary in Nicoma Park.

"In one arm sweep, he got about $5,000 worth of meds in about seven or eight bottles," Westminster Family Drug owner John Blomgren said.

The man accused of hitting Blomgren's pharmacy, Christopher Don Roberts, got away with drugs and a gun, according to police. At the time, investigators did not know they would be led to even more loot and suspects.

"[Roberts] reached up to grab my pistol, and that's where we got the pictures of his tattoos on his arm," Blomgren said.

The tattoos, combined with an informant and good old fashioned police work, put Roberts in jail. It also secured search warrants on homes of suspected thieves and drug pushers.

"There's about four houses that they went and searched," Blomgren said. "They did a really good, thorough job."

Two other suspects, Jesse and James Crawford, appear to be just the tip of the iceberg, according to court documents. The men are accused of knowing and participating in burglary and drug operations in Oklahoma and Pottawatomie Counties.

Blomgren says, even though being a burglary victim is no fun, he's happy his misfortune led police to a growing list of suspects.

Blomgren's pistol is still missing, but most of the drugs have been recovered.
