Police Identify Man Who Drowned In Bartlesville Pool

BARTLESVILLE, Oklahoma -

Bartlesville Police identified a man found at the bottom of a swimming pool Sunday afternoon. 

Police got a call at 1:24 p.m. about a drowning at the Willowbrook Condominiums in the 4700 block of East Adams Boulevard. 

When firefighters and paramedics arrived, residents were pulling Sarathchandra Avadhanam, 25, from the pool, according to Police Captain Jay Hastings.

Paramedics were unable to revive him. 

Hastings said Avadhanam may have been at the bottom of the pool for 10 to 15 minutes prior to being found.
