Join Oklahoma's Own News 9 as we highlight the Oklahoma City Zoo and Science Museum Oklahoma on Friday July 26th!

Travel with us into the heart of Oklahoma City's adventure district as we venture into the Southwest's oldest zoo and nationally recognized Science Museum Oklahoma.

Meet News 9 anchors, spin the prize wheel and join in on the fun from 9:00am-4:00pm at Science Museum Oklahoma in the front lobby. Plus you don't want to miss the News 9 Weather Show with Meteorologist Matt Mahler and Storm Tracker Val Castor at 1:30pm. A full schedule of meet and greet times is listed below.

The first 100 people to mention News 9 after 1pm will receive $1.00 off general admission at the science museum. 

The Science Museum opened in 1958 and has been bringing exciting and educational exhibits to Oklahoma ever since. The museums many thrilling exhibits are sure to bring guest back for years to come.

The museums planetarium, I-Max Dome Theater and Science Live are just a few exhibits guaranteed to thrill. You are sure to enjoy the museums newest I-Max  film, Rescue, which takes audience members back to when a deadly earthquake shook the ground of Haiti devastating lives and killing thousands. Rescue is the true story of how first responders, military and civilians helped to relieve one of the biggest humanitarian disasters of the century.

Groups can even get in on "Bright Nights," a special overnight trip to the museum with plenty of hands on science and activities sure to delight and entertain.

The Oklahoma City Zoo has a vast variety of exhibits and shows that are sure to impress. Be sure to check out the zoo's newest unique family-stingrays at the Stingray Bay! Meet these special creatures up close and personal and don't forget to bring your camera to capture yourself with the sting rays!
