A 17-year-old girl says she was robbed Sunday night while walking home from her job at a fast food restaurant near N.W. 63rd Street and Meridian.

The girl was walking home from Sonic just after midnight. She called her mother because she thought she was being followed. The teen's mother says that's when the call suddenly disconnected.

The girl called her mother a few minutes later and said she'd been robbed. She said two men confronted her around N.W. 60th Street and Vermont. One of the suspects said he had a gun, and demanded the girl give him her tip money. He told her if she screamed, he'd shoot her.

The men ran off with about $50. The girl was not hurt.

Police do not have a good description of the suspects. They urge anyone who has information about the crime to call police.
