The Oklahoma City RedHawks scored all of their runs in the second inning for a 3-2 win against the Reno Aces Thursday in front of 5,203 at Chickasaw Bricktown Ballpark.

The win gave the RedHawks (63-50) a seventh-straight win, tying their season-best winning streak.

Oklahoma City also improved to 3-0 against the Aces (45-68) and now sits a season-high 13 games above .500.

The RedHawks scored first Thursday, marking the seventh game in a row Oklahoma City got on the scoreboard first.

A bunt single by Che-Hsuan Lin brought home Rene Garcia, who joined the RedHawks Thursday from Double-A Corpus Christi, for the first run of the night.

A RBI single by Trevor Crowe scored Jon Singleton for a 2-0 lead. Jose Martinez reached base on a fielding error by Reno third baseman Matt Davidson and Lin scored for a 3-0 lead.

The Aces' lone runs of the night came in the sixth inning on a two-run homer by Ed Easley – his fifth of the season.

Oklahoma City starter Paul Clemens threw three scoreless innings in his first start since April 5, allowing two hits, walking three and striking out three. Clemens has spent most of the season in the Astros bullpen.

RedHawks relief pitcher Philip Humber (2-4) got the win, allowing three hits in two scoreless innings, walking one and striking out four. Hector Ambriz recorded his first save of the season with Oklahoma City.

Reno starter Tyler Skaggs (6-7) was charged with the loss. He allowed three runs (two earned) on six hits, walked one and struck out six.

Second baseman Martinez led the RedHawks with two hits. Designated hitter Juan Rivera went 3-for-4 for the Aces.

Oklahoma City's four-game series against Reno concludes at 7:05 p.m. Friday at Chickasaw Bricktown Ballpark. Fireworks, presented by FAA Credit Union, will follow the game.
