A deadly shooting involving several officers is getting a second look.

We first told you last month police completed the criminal investigation into the death of a fugitive and his girlfriend. Now, we are learning the case has been turned over to the Attorney General for review.

At least seven officers from different agencies shot and killed a burglary suspect and his girlfriend back in April. After a three month investigation, sources told News 9 it will be up to a grand jury to determine if anyone should face charges.

The US Marshal's Task Force shot and killed Stacey Stout and her fugitive boyfriend Christopher Stout, when he allegedly tried to run from officers near S.E. 44th and I-35 back in April.

Lance and Barbre Stout filed a lawsuit against the seven officers and the agencies involved in their daughter's death.

After Oklahoma City Police completed the criminal investigation into the shooting, Stacey Stout's parents questioned why they were not given access to investigative reports now sources say. It's because a grand jury will review the evidence in the case

The grand jury is expected to hear about Christopher Stout's ties to a statewide burglary ring specifically dealing with stolen firearms. Authority's previously said he was also wanted at the time of his death for allegedly stealing guns from a law enforcement officer. But Stacey Stout had no criminal history when she was shot and killed, and her parents want to know why.

We are told the Grand Jury is expected to hear the case when it reconvenes next week.
