Speed And Rain Combine For Tulsa Overnight Wrecks

Speed and rain lead to a couple of accidents overnight. The first happened just before midnight on 51st street near Memorial. A man left Magoo's and went too fast on the slick road ways.

He lost control of his car which hit a curb and came to rest on it's side against a tree. Firefighters removed him from his vehicle, and EMSA took him to the hospital.

His injuries are not expected to be life threatening.

In another accident overnight, a woman was driving too fast and lost control of her Jeep Liberty on 41st Street between Garnett and 129th.

The jeep went off the road, hit a culvert and rolled onto it's side. Firefighters pulled her out her.

The woman complained of neck pain and was transported to a local hospital.
