The Oklahoma City RedHawks' 5-1 win against the Albuquerque Isotopes Saturday extended their home winning streak to 14 games and pushed their lead in the Pacific Coast League American Southern Division standings to five games in front of 9,401 at Chickasaw Bricktown Ballpark.

The RedHawks' 14-game winning streak at home ties the club record, set last season May 10-June 7, 2012.

First-place Oklahoma City (72-56) now leads second-place Albuquerque (67-61) by five games and third-place Round Rock by six games in the division standings.

The Isotopes scored first Saturday and took a 1-0 lead in the first inning. The RedHawks went on to score five answered runs in the win as they outhit Albuquerque, 11-4.

Catcher Carlos Perez led the RedHawks with two hits, two RBI and a run scored Saturday.

Starting pitcher Paul Clemens (3-1) allowed one run and two hits in the win. He walked three and struck out six in a season-high 6.2 innings pitched.

Albuquerque outfielder Matt Angle drew a lead-off walk and later scored when Alex Castellanos reached on a fielding error for a 1-0 lead in the top of the first inning.

With two outs, the RedHawks scored three times on four straight hits to take a 3-1 lead in the fourth inning. Jimmy Paredes and Che-Hsuan Lin hit back-to-back singles. A double by Perez scored the RedHawks' first two runs of the night and a RBI single by Ruben Sosa put the RedHawks ahead by two runs.

A single by Paredes in the bottom of the eighth inning loaded the bases with no outs. Che-Hsuan Lin struck out and then with Perez batting, a passed ball by Isotopes catcher Drew Butera allowed Brandon Laird to score. Perez walked to load the bases again and a sacrifice fly by Ruben Sosa extended the RedHawks to a 5-1 lead.

Isotopes starting pitcher Angel Castro (8-4) was charged with the loss. He allowed three runs and nine hits over 6.0 innings.

The RedHawks now lead the current series, 2-0, and continue their five-game stretch against Albuquerque at 6:05 p.m. Sunday at Chickasaw Bricktown Ballpark. Kids can run the bases after Sunday's game.
