Many students are heading back to school this week, including those at Tulsa's Eisenhower Elementary - which has been moved to a new building that's not quite ready.
It has been a long process remodeling the old Nimitz Middle School.
Teachers have only just started to move in.
The playground is still under construction, but the new parking lots and sidewalks are ready and the inside is nearly finished.
"I'm highly impressed with how quickly things have moved in the last two weeks," PTA president Marlow Perkins-Sipes said. "And things will definitely be ready and safe for our kids to show up for school on Thursday morning."
The pre-k and kindergarten classrooms should be finished in another four weeks.
